hey Sam,

I know it's been a while since we spoke, but I was reviewing/deleting my bookmarks when I came across your site. You've definitely have made a lot of improvements since your last visit.

I like your print designs, very fresh and clean. But your photography is very nice, I love the natural lighting and depth of field (the bicycle, and spools of thread photos especially). It gives your photos so much warmth and dimension.

So have you officially graduated? If so what have you been up to?

I'm still doing photoshop and digital photography at H&D, which is still my passion. But I've been doing a lot of outdoor nature & landscape photography while kayaking. I invested in a nice telephoto lens which is necessary to be able to get decent shots of the wildlife. But what I love about shooting nature & landscapes is you're capturing the "moment". You have no control over the lighting and composition like you do in the studio. It can be very spontaneous and frustrating, but once you get that shot-it's worth the effort.

Well, I better get back to work . . . being paged for the 4th time : )

Keep in touch,
Ken
