Learning to Bend It

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

After a few years of lusting over the Lensbaby products I finally decided that the time to take action and buy one. So expect some new images popping up throughout my blog as I continue to test out this new toy.

So without further ado, here are some of my latest experiments:

King of the Lanes I am not. Perhaps it is from growing up on duckpin bowling, but I rarely break a 60.

High Time for Pie Time

As a life long fan of pies, and being a prize winning baker (back in my 4-H days) I don’t know why I didn’t start making pies sooner. Perhaps I was discouraged by the way people scoff at the phrase “Easier than Pie.”  But in reality, it is easy to make a beautiful and delicious pie.

I actually began my pie making endeavors last September. But so far, I have enjoyed every bit of the fruits of my labors.

Run Down

I went on a little photo adventure yesterday as the snow and ice melted, just as the sun was setting.

Icy

It has been rather snowy over the past few days, so last night I decided to snap a few frames of the branches outside my apartment.

I almost chose to stay in since it was so late and I was quite cold, hoping that my shot would still be there the next day, but if there is one thing I have learned with design and photography it is to never bank on tomorrow.
