As a life long fan of pies, and being a prize winning baker (back in my 4-H days) I don’t know why I didn’t start making pies sooner. Perhaps I was discouraged by the way people scoff at the phrase “Easier than Pie.”  But in reality, it is easy to make a beautiful and delicious pie.

I actually began my pie making endeavors last September. But so far, I have enjoyed every bit of the fruits of my labors.
